Patsy Marlene Cossey Benson, 70, of Florence, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 1 PM until 2 PM at Bumpus Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Larry Burbank officiating. A graveside service will be held at Bumpus Creek Cemetery beginning at 2:15 PM.
Mrs. Benson was a member of the Bumpus Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hartie and Ellawe Cossey; brothers Charles, Waymond, Bobby, Tommy, and Jimmy.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Benson; children, Daniel Benson (Jennifer), and Kim Young; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
