Services to celebrate the life of John Phillip Lassiter, 72, will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Tuscumbia Baptist.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Lassiter died on January 24, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on October 29, 1950 to the late John Clifford and Beatrice Carper Lassiter. He was maintenance supervisor at Magnolia Hospital as well as hospitals in Oxford and Decatur, AL. He attended church at times with his family at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by grandchildren, Dylan Lassiter, Caleb Lassiter and Cameron Schexnider; great-grandchild, Allie Brook Lassiter; sisters, Geraldean Crabb and Pat Tucker (Don); mother of his children, Cynthia Lassiter and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Mark Lassiter and brothers, Billy and Harold B. Lassiter.
Bro. Rodney Whittemore and Bro. Charles Stephenson will officiate the service.
