Michael Anthony “Tony” Carpenter, age 72, resident of LaVergne, Tennessee, passed away January 8, 2023 at his home.
A memorial service for Tony will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home with Bert Spann officiating. Military honors will precede the service. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the funeral home.
Born August 13, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, Tony was the son of the late Cherry and Violet Shaumberg Carpenter. Tony served his country and retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the GWRRA and GWTA motorcycle group. Tony loved boating and tinkering with automobiles. He was a fun-loving man and enjoyed people.
Tony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Carpenter of Hampshire, Tennessee.
