Dorthy Lavaun (Dot) Childers Counce departed this life on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the age of 80 years, 1 month, 26 days.
Dorthy was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Noah and Lola Booker Childers. She was a member of the Ellendale United Methodist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Ms. Counce is survived by her sons, Hal Counce and wife Deanne, Hank Counce and wife Lynn all of Bartlett, Tennessee; grandchildren, Amber Counce, Leslie Cruz and Daniel Counce all of Bartlett, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Daniel Rooker, Lucas Cruz and John Cruz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Counce; sister, Thelma Childers Flatt; brothers, Theron, Duel, C.B. and Truman Childers.
