Ruby Jewel Kennemer, 93, of Athens, passed away on Friday, December 2nd, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Kennemer was born on December 13th, 1928, to Jewel Prater and Mattie Belle Miller Prater.
Mrs. Kennemer is survived by her son Michael Kennemer; daughter Sherry Rice; grandchildren Laura Kennemer, Dana Rice, Matthew Rice, Jennifer Harrison (Patrick); sister Annie Kennemer; brother Morris Prater.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Otha Kennemer; daughter Judy Ayers; Grandson Chris Harrison.
A graveside service for Mrs. Kennemer will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Bill Stone officiating.
Mrs. Kennemer attended Isom’s Chapel Church.
