James Luther Pounders, age 79, of Russellville, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Russellville Hospital.
Mr. Pounders was a retired mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his children, James Adam Pounders, Joshua Roy Pounders; parents, Delbert Luther & Ethel (Cofield) Pounders; siblings, Helen Zills, Dennis R. Pounders, Betty W. Spires, Mary N. Pounders, Arthur “Sonny”, Jerry W. Pounders, Ila Mae Pounders, and four infant siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Powell Pounders; children, Jennifer Ann Pounders, Michael D. Pounders, Debra Pounders; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 10:30–11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 03, 2022, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with Bro. Gilbert Selinas speaking at the service.
