Jessie Paulette Jernigan, age 75 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the Waters of Winchester. She was born in Harvey, Illinois, on October 31, 1946, to the late James Paul and Annie Doretha (Steelman) Jernigan. Before her retirement, she was employed as a data entry clerk. Paulette loved holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween (her birthday). When she was able, she attended Decherd First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Larry Jernigan. Paulette is survived by her nephew, James (Nancy) Jernigan of Evansville, Indiana; and great-nephews, Kiefer Jernigan and Kaleb Jernigan of Evansville, Indiana. Visitation will be from 1-3 pm on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Chris Noland officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to American Diabetes Association.
