He passed, leaving his wife Dean Broadway of 64 ½ years of marriage; sons D.C. and Jed Broadway of Gainesville, Georgia; grandsons Justin, Josh, and Chase Broadway; granddaughter Brandi West; great-granddaughter Addie Broadway; sisters Ramona Greenway and Kathy Estes, both of Madison, Alabama; and several wonderful nephews and nieces.
He was an ordained Deacon, a member of Madison Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama, attended Tennessee Temple in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was a 1956 graduate of Ardmore High School in Ardmore, Alabama.
Kent was a born again Christian and a blessed soul winner for Christ. He was a wonderful friend and husband, a loving father and grandfather, a treasured uncle, and a friend to many.
He will be missed by ALL and we, his family, are praising God for his Godly testimony, his love for his family, his love for his Lord and Savior, and his gift of leading souls to Jesus Christ.
We are truly a blessed family because of his love and Godly leadership.
Funeral services for Kent will be Friday, October 14th, 2022, at 3:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Mike Allison and Ryan Estes officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00-2:50pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hasting Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, and honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
