Douglas McArthur Dotson, 76 of Elkmont, passed away on Monday, October 10th, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Dotson was born on March 10th, 1946, to Huett Lee and Myrtle Terry Dotson.
Mr. Dotson is survived his wife of 60 years, Ann Dotson; sons Randy Dotson (Angie) and Jeff Dotson; daughter Angela Bowers (William); brother Earl Dotson; sisters Ann Edwards and Loreen Edwards; grandchildren Holly Jewell (Daniel), Tiffany Sharp, Alexis Dotson, and Heather Hart (T.C.); great-grandchildren Emma Jewell, Ella Jewell, Brealla Vibbert, and Everett Jewell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services for Mr. Dotson will be Thursday, October 13th, 2022, at 11:00am New Garden Pentecostal Church in Elkmont, with Daniel Jewell, James Swindle, Jr., and Rick Strain officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
