Sharon Kay Hastings West, 74, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Alabama to William and Florence Bragg Hastings. She had worked as a secretary for 15 years. She was a Christian and loved to read.
Graveside services will be Monday, October 10, 5 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter- Tina Payne (Matthew); grandson- Andrew Payne; granddaughter- Cassandra Davis (Austin); great- grandchildren- Lucas Payne, Avary Davis, Clark Payne and Abigail Davis; three sisters- Sue Smith, Bettie Thompson and Peggy Miller; three brothers- Jackie Hastings, Jerry Hastings and Jimmy Hastings and lots of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister- Jeanette Graham; brother- Ron Hastings; nephew- Alan Graham and a niece Patricia Graham.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Payne, Austin Davis, Patrick Hastings, Nash Humphres, Dustin Hastings and Matthew Hastings.
