Margie Rush Posey, 84, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022. She was born July 9, 1938 to the late William Everett Rush and Bedith Chandler Rush. She worked through the years in the hosiery industry and with the Georgia Department of Transportation. Mrs. Posey was a lifetime member of the Fort Payne Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stewart Cemetery.
She is survived by her children Donnie Posey, Glenn Posey, Timothy Posey, and Lora Posey Stone; brother Charles Rush; sister Janet Thomas; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son Ernest Rush Posey and grandsons Michael Posey and Joshua Stone.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
