A Graveside Funeral service and Interement, for Newell “Ed” Johnson, 87, will be Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mickey Johnson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Johnson died on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 84 Cambridge Drive (residence). He was born Saturday, February 9, 1935, in Palm Beach County to Daniel Webster Johnson, Jr. and Annie Pearl Reeder Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was married to his loving wife, Willie Anna, for 65 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who loved his family and having family get-togethers. He was employed by the Scott Paper Company in Mobile, as a machine operator where he worked hard prior to his retirement. He is a United States Air Force Veteran and served 4 years for his country. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and painting.
His parents preceded him in death.
