Jenny Michelle Sowers, age 49 of Belvidere, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born on May 24, 1973, in Huntsville, Alabama. Jenny was a member of Donaldson Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and quilting when she was able. She was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. But most of all, Jenny cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her father, William Boyd Clark; and grandparents, Christine and Joe D. Clark, and Kenneth Fanning. Jenny is survived by her loving daughters, Kayla (Nathan) Foreman of Hixson, Ashlyn Sowers of Hixson, Sara Sowers of Belvidere, and Kennedy Davis of Winchester; mother, Patricia Fanning Clark; sister, Carie (James) Atkinson of Belvidere; granddaughters, Julia Foreman and Leona Foreman; grandmother, Wanda Fanning; nephews, Micah Atkinson and Ezekiel Atkinson, both of Belvidere; caregivers, Jana Cruise and Lisa Keele Phillips; and many treasured cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Bob Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Owens Chapel Cemetery.
