Randall Brent Goodman, age 68 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, he was born on September 23, 1953, in Winchester to the late Joe Cephus Goodman and Peggy (Riley) Goodman. Randall served his country in the United States Air Force, where he served as a Military Policeman. After his military service, he worked as an Extradition Agent for Transcore America. He had also previously been employed as a supervisor at Wilton Corporation and as a fishing guide. In his younger years, he played Minor League baseball for the Dodgers. A talented musician, Randall enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, and writing songs, and he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to the beach, especially Panama City Beach. But most of all, Randall cherished the time spent with his beloved children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe C. Goodman. Randall is survived by his loving children, Joey (Crystal) Goodman, Jennifer (Paul) Alley, and Jaysa (James) Hill; grandchildren, Jesse (Haley) Goodman, Chasely (Heather) Goodman, Chelsea Goodman, Tayden Goodman (Kara), Riley Jo Goodman, Michael Triolo, Ryan (Rachel) Ocheltree, Avianna Scott, Ethan Alley, Kelsey Alley, Courtney (Chris) Stevens, Haley (Cole) Jenkins, and Jamie (Elysa) Taylor-Hill; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ellis Goodman; nieces and nephews, Troy (Paula) Goodman, Traci Goodman, and Tony (Shirley) Goodman; and several cousins and other family members. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
