Pleasy Reynolds Anderson, age 77 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at The Waters in Winchester. He was born on August 8, 1945 in Decherd to the late Edger and Alma (Pharr) Anderson. Pleasy was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed making walking canes and lamps. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. During his life, he lived in Michigan and Florida but Tennessee was always his home. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Eric Anderson and Pleasy Anderson, Jr; infant brother, Willis Anderson and brother, Ed Anderson; and sister, Dollie Mae Anderson. He is survived by his children, Sam Anderson, Angie Signor, Michelle Anderson, Melissa Deel, Karen Pendergrass, Joseph Green, and Brian Richards; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Robert (April) Anderson; sister, Sue Baker and sister-in-law, Patricia Anderson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 1pm -3pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3pm in the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Seals officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery.
