Steven Wayne Cato, 60 of Empire, passed away September 6, 2022.
Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a hard- working honest man and was a man of his word.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wadus and Juanita Cato; daughter, Stephanie Cato and brothers, Danny, Doug, Neil, Dennis and Randy Cato.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Beverly Cato; children, Tabitha Cato (Scott), Samantha Cato (Vincent) and Daniel Cato; grandchildren, Alex, Steven, Myles, Tommy, Hunter and Randi; great grandchildren, Connor, Cameron, Chandler, and Waylon, who will arrive Tuesday; brother, Mike Cato; sisters, Nancy and Becky; many other relatives and a host of friends.
