Joe Raymond Robinson, age 62 of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, February 24, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Seth Hood officiating. Burial will be in Shoals Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Dorthy Robinson; brothers, James Robinson, Carl (Jack) Robinson and sisters, Mary Littrell, Dorthy Rendall, and Carlyn Weise.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Robinson: son, Michael Coggins of Tuscumbia; daughters, Toni Hoeppner of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Michele Moss of Tuscumbia; honorary daughter, Kristi Robinson of Portage, Wisconsin; brother, Alvin Robinson; sisters, Nellie Gobbell, Ola Rosson, Sarah Newton; eleven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Joseph Michael, Damien Michael, Michael House, Jeremiah Jackson, Randall Terrell, Alex Michael, and Justin Moss.
