Mark Randall Russell, 71 of Empire, passed away Thursday Aug. 25, 22 at his residence.
He was a retired coal miner. He worked at Concord Mine and Oak Grove mine. He was a member of the UMWA. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Felicia Hill, parents, Red and Louise Russell and brothers, Billy and Kenneth Russell.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Polly Russell, son, Robert Hill, grandson, Mark Hill, brother, David Russell, sisters, Pam and Linda Russell and special friends, Pine and Leo.
Cremation services are being provided.
