Dora Faye Rose, age 79 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, she was born on February 15, 1943 to the late Hugh Thomas and Mildred (Smith) Vanzant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Wade Rose. Dora Faye is survived by her sister, Kaye Vanzant Thompson of Murfreesboro; niece, Karen Helton of Estill Springs; and great-nieces, Sarah Helton of Tullahoma, and Jessica (Tad) Osekowsky of Murfreesboro. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Franklin Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Gammada, Elk River Health and Rehabilitation, and Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center for the excellent care given to Faye.
