Mr. David Hope, age 67 of Ashland, passed away on August 3, 2022, at his home. He was born in Florida and spent most of his life there. He served his community as an electrician as well as being a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was part of the Stone Hill Hunting Club in Eufaula, Alabama for 20 years. At David’s retirement, he and his family recently moved to Ashland. David was a loving husband and father and truly enjoyed time spent with his family.
Mr. Hope is survived by his wife of 40 years, Leslye Hope; his daughter, Patricia Harvestor (Jeff) of Panama City, Florida; his sons James David Hope and Mathew Dennis Hope, both of Ashland; his grandchildren Cael and Jadyn; his sister Carol Thomas (J. T.) of Tennessee; and other extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George David Hope, Sr. and Audry Bennett Hope.
