Buis Hopkins Prince, age 94 of Winchester, was a devout Christian and ready to go be with the Lord, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems- Winchester surrounded by his family. He was born in Princeton, AL on January 31, 1928 to the late Claude and Essie Ann (Houston) Prince. Buis enjoyed gardening, fishing, bee keeping and playing Rook with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his cat, Miss Kitty. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Hazel Geneva (Arnold) Prince and son, Jimmy Dale Prince. He is survived by his son, Ronnie (Lisa) Prince; grandchildren, Randy (Jennifer) Prince, Melanie (Charlie) Sullivan, Shannon (Martin) Stephens, Jason (Trisha) Prince, Alex Prince, and Emily (Bric) Baker; daughter-in-law, Pat Avery Prince; siblings, Carlos Houston (Faye) Prince and Frances Posey; several great-grandchildren; special fishing friend, Doyle Fowler; and special friend, Rebecca Elliott. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10:30 am at Moore Memorial Cemetery in Huntland.
