Reba Ann Foxall, age 87 of Murfreesboro formerly of Dayton, TN, passed away on August 1, 2022, at St. Thomas Rutherford. Reba was born on April 8, 1935, in Tinley Park, IL, to the late Henry and Blanche (Wheatley) Wills. Reba retired after many years of service from TVA as an administrative assistant. In her younger years, Reba was known for having a green thumb, when working in her garden, enjoyed riding motorcycles on warm days, camping, playing piano, and cooking wonderful meals for her family. She was an avid sports fan who cheered on the UT Vols, Tennessee Titans, and any team Peyton Manning played for. Reba was a former member of the Eastern Star and was of Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James H. “Sarge” Foxall; daughter, Reba Louise Foxall, and brothers, James Wills and Edward Wills. Reba is survived by her daughters, Patti Foxall and Carol Foxall (Mike) Taylor both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, James Childress of Shelbyville, Trey Childress and Sydney Bible both of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Joshua Childress and Jasmine Childress both of Shelbyville, Tierra Childress, Trent Childress and Desmond Childress are all from Murfreesboro; special cousins, Jane Kilgore (Ronnie) Large and Robert Kilgore both of Wise, VA; special friend who was considered a sister, Jeanne Riggs of Dayton, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00pm. Interment will follow Franklin Memorial Gardens.
