Lucas Raylen Knight, born July 28, 2014 passed away on the evening of July 1st, 2022 in his home. On a day filled with laughter and love with family, little Lucas laid down to sleep in anticipation of his favorite day of the week, Shabbat, and woke up in the arms of his Eternal Father. During this past year, Lucas could be found nearly every day rising early with dad then exploring the endless adventures on his family’s property with sister Sophia, tending to goats, chickens, swimming, never straying too far from mom, working on projects with Nathanael and Tyler and making plans to move in with grandfather Kenny and making sure he kept big sister Kalah informed of his adventures. After sunset, you might find Lucas playing with Sophia, unwinding with family, listening to his favorite worship music, watching a message by Rabbi Greg or an episode of Superbook.
Lucas is survived by his mother Tuesday Knight, his father Leon Knight, big brother Nathanael Knight, sister Kalah Knight, sister and sidekick Sophia Knight, his loving gramps and constant companion Kenny Knight, his cousin Tyler and grandparents Suzy Dorman, Dale Dorman, Mary Dorman, Darlene Ferguson, Ken Ferguson, Tony Palermo and Dorothy Drake and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and church family who have all been touched and blessed in innumerable ways by the life of this young boy.
