Louise Thomas, age 100, went home to be with the Lord on July 6th. She was in her house surrounded by her loving family. She was a charter member of Highland Baptist Church where she faithfully attended for many years. She loved her church, her family and she loved to travel. She traveled many places. She especially loved to go to Gulf Shores with her daughter Dianne and her family. She loved to cook, loved her flowers, and her friends. Left to mourn her loss are her daughters Pauline Abercrombie, Dianne (Charles) Gibb, and son-in-law George (Debra) Moss, four grandchildren; Shelia (Sammy) Wilson, Ken (Janet) Abercrombie, Chris Johnston, and Scott Johnston, eight great grandchildren; Kristi Dodelin, Lindsey Johnston, Madelyn Johnston, Wyatt Johnston, Samantha Franklin, Ashley Click, Daniel Abercrombie, and Jenni Mills, two great-great-great grandchildren and a sister Dimple Beddingfield. Deceased loved ones include her husband Jessie Leon Thomas, parents Allie Burge and Lillie Mae Tucker, daughter, Linda Faye Moss, son, Jerry Leon Thomas, grandson Craig Abercrombie, great grandson Matthew Wilson, and seven siblings. Visitation will be 1:00 until 2:00 P.M., funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Eldridge Criscoe officiating.
