James Ronnie Arnett, 83 of Athens, passed away on Monday, June 27th, 2022, at Decatur-Morgan Hospital. Mr. Arnett was born on January 30th, 1939, to James and Minnie Richardson Arnett.
Mr. Arnett is survived by his son Jimmy Arnett (Anita); daughters Cassandra Montgomery (Neil) and Ronda Holland (Bradley); grandchildren Colin Neil Montgomery (Vita), Courtney Montgomery Calder (Chris), Avery Holland (Nikki), Abby Holland, and Heather Ralson; great-grandson Montgomery Ren Calder; sister Elaine Arnett Wade; and nephew Brent Arnett Wade.
Preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 56 years, Martha Nell Arnett.
Funeral services for Mr. Arnett will be Thursday, June 30th, 2022, at 1:00pm at Sardis Springs Baptist Church, with Tim Keenum officiating. Visitation will be 11:00am-12:45pm at the church. Burial will be at Sardis Springs Cemetery.
