Michael “Mickey” Glenn Davis, age 71 of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his residence. He was born on October 10, 1950 in Lincoln County, to the late John and Pauline Bevels Davis. Mickey was retired from Dunlop Tire Company. After his retirement he would minister to AA in Hazel Green, AL and minister to the inmates at Lincoln Co. Jail in Fayetteville. When he wasn’t studying the Bible, he enjoyed fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and collecting fossils. Mickey is survived by his son, Justin (Christy) Davis and Paul (Michele) Davis; grandchildren, Logan Davis, Carley Davis, Cheyenne Davis, Wes Johnson, Hannah Davis, and Jacob Davis; two great grandchildren; sister, Janice (James) Britton; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Janelle) Satterfield, Troy (Amy) Satterfield, and Jennifer Satterfield; and several great nieces and nephews.
