Jaine Janet West Murphy Metz, 90, Moulton, Ala., died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Lawrence Medical Center, Moulton.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Murphy Pender and husband, Gene, Killen, Ala., Hazel Murphy Morrison Jarrett and husband, Jim-Gaylon, Moulton, Ala., and Mary Murphy Kennedy Glover and husband, Sam, Houston, Texas; sister, Ruby Jean Richardson, Gardendale, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be her Fellowship Class.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry George Metz and Evan Augusta “Pat” Murphy; father, Harrison West; mother, Sidie Bobo West; son, Michael Murphy; daughter, Corkey Metz Wilson; brothers, Cap West, Cullen West, J.D. West, Coot West, Hobby West, Billy West and Hoyt West; and sisters, Ada West Palmer and Dora West Lawler.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and retired from the VA Hospital, Topeka, Kan.

Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Moulton, Ala., with the Rev. Eric Brown and the Rev. Carl Long officiating. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, Ala.
