Ora I. Mills, 90, transitioned to paradise on May 22, 2022 in Kenosha, WI. She was born February 19, 1932 in Itawamba County, MS to Thomas and Cora Davis. Ora was raised in Red Bay, AL where she met and married Edward Mills on July 2, 1950. That unity brought forth six children, Beverly, Wanda, Danny, Douglas, Lori and Lynn. Ora will always be remembered as a devoted wife and mother and a woman with a multitude of talents. She was a writer, excellent cook, seamstress, barber, gardener, decorator and a talented crocheter. She had a heart of gold and was a devoted friend and prayer warrior for anyone in need.

Graveside services will be Friday, June 3, 1 p.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Left to mourn and cherish her memory are her children, Danny, Douglas, Lori and Lynn and two grandsons, Alex and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Edward; her daughters, Beverly and Wanda; her parents; her sisters, Juanita and Verdie Mae and her brother, Gilbert.
