Lonnie Harold Alexander, 69 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Lonnie was born on May 11, 1953 to Hardie Lee and Joyce Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 6-8pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. He will lie in state from 11am to12pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Pinetucky Missionary Baptist Church in Black Pond Community, where services will be held at 12pm.. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Jody Cowens Alexander; children, James Alexander, Valerie Burr, Randall Alexander, Adam Alexander, Melissa Rice and Amanda Drake; grandchildren, Brandon England, Ashley Bryant, Julissa Mata, Deanna Mata, Monica Rice, Owen Rice, Jasmine Rice, Jonathan Lolley, Sarah Lolley, Mason Drake and Xander Drake; siblings, Roger Alexander, Blenda Couch and Glenda Alexander; and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Alexander; and his parents.
