Vera Ione Lausee, age 82 of Lynchburg, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at her Regency Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1940, in Alma, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Ruby (McNabb) Miller. Before her retirement, she was employed by UpJohn’s Pharmaceutical, which is now Pfizer, for over forty-two years. Vera enjoyed playing Solitaire on the computer, deep sea fishing (she caught a shark once), and planting flowers. She was a wonderful cook who kept her recipes a secret and always enjoyed having her family home for the holidays. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Vera will be remembered for her loving nature, infectious laugh, and the encouragement she would share with others. She was a member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Lausee; and all her siblings. Vera is survived by her loving children, Debi (Ed) Ringen of Brownsburg, Indiana, Annette Lausee of Greencastle, Indiana, Kyle (Leslie) Lausee II of Huntsville, and Tom (Jennifer) Lausee of Greencastle, Indiana; grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Lytle, Tyler Ketchum, Zachary Lausee, Jeremiah Lausee, Bailey Lausee, Simon Lausee, and Elise Lausee; great-grandchildren, Nolan O’Hair, Briggs O’Hair, Maizie Lytle, Kynslee Lausee, Kolton Lausee, Kayson Sneed, and River Paxton; sister-in-law, Barb (Larry) Vosters of Chandler, Arizona; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-3pm on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm with Dr. Joe Butler officiating.
