Carl Chambers Mitchell
Mrs. Mitchell passed from this life Monday night, February 11, 2013 in Somerville, TN at the age of 92 years 6 months and 5 days.
Mrs. Mitchell was born August 6, 1920 to Bruce and Pearl Cruise Chambers in Macon, TN. She married Robert A. Mitchell, October 25, 1936 and was married for 75 years until his passing on September 23, 2012. She lived all her married life in Whiteville, was a founding member of the Whiteville Church of Christ and most recently a member of Macon Church of Christ.
She leaves 1 son, Robert B. Mitchell of Memphis; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Alice Ann White and Bruce Goldy Bowling; 2 sisters, Jo Irby and Sugin Cocke; and 1 brother Allen Chambers.
