Carrie “Geraldine” Yarbrough Bahr was born May 22, 1938 in Madison County, Alabama and departed this earth on April 2, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie Bell Graviett and Alma David “Bruce” Yarbrough as well as her sisters, Frankie Mae Marberry and Nellie Louise Sisk.
Geraldine is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ken Bahr; her children, Curtis (Patricia) Bahr and Rhonda (Mike) Machnica; her sister, Ruby Glenn Heard; her grandchildren, Nora (Lee) Isham, Mallory (Andrade) Azevedo, Kenny Bahr, Tyler (Harlee) Machnica, Hunter (Michelle) Machnica, and Robert Bahr; as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Will Faulkenberry officiating.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Machnica, Tyler Machnica, Kenny Bahr, Robert Bahr, Lee Isham and Tommy Sisk (Lil” Tom). Honorary pallbearers will be Andrade Azevedo and Thomas Lovett, Jr.
