Jania Carolyn Gonzales Doud, age 62 of Murfreesboro, died February 24,2022. She
was a native of Murfreesboro, graduated Riverdale High School and received her
Bachelor of Science degree, at Middle Tennessee State University. Her career
started off maintaining the gardens at Opryland, which progressed into her owning
a landscaping business, TLC Landscaping. She was recognized as Business Woman
of the Year by Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce. She attended church regularly
and volunteered her skills at many church gardens in Murfreesboro as well as
Richmond Hill, GA, where she lived for many years. Jania loved nature, art, and
working in gardens, but most of all her two sons.
Jania was a loving daughter, mother, and sister. She is survived by her mother,
Dorothy Gonzales Jackson, her two sons, Marshall Doud and Mitchell Doud (Alex),
and her two sisters, Robin Gonzales Meyer (Bob) and Sandra Gonzales VerBeek
(Greg) and many nieces and nephews. Jania is preceded in death by her father, Jim
Gonzales.
A service will be held at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN on Sunday,
March 13, 2022, with visitation from 12:00pm to 1:30pm and a Celebration of Life
immediately following.
