Jerry Black, 73 of Athens, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10th, 2022. Mr. Black was born on December 16th, 1948, to Fred and Emma Black.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Sheryl Black; daughters Lorretta Lynn Black, Christy Lynn Black, and Emma Jo Black (Christian); granddaughter Rachel Tippit.
Preceded in death by his daughter Diane Black, his brothers, and sisters.
Graveside services for Mr. Black will be on Friday, February 18th, 2022, at 2:00pm at Pettusville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00-1:30pm at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
