Lynn Marie Stumpf, age 55 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at her residence. Lynn was born in Cook County, Illinois on January 21, 1967. She had been previously employed as a supervisor at Avon. Lynn enjoyed reading, particularly works of Steven King, painting, fishing, and traveling. An avid sportsman, she followed all sports, especially the Chicago Bears, and played softball, basketball, and ran track. Lynn was a member of Harris Chapel United Methodist Church and had been studying to be a minister. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stumpf; brother, Matthew Thomas Stumpf; and aunts, Norma (Charles) Stevens and June (Brooks) Sells. Lynn is survived by her mother, Elaine Farris Stumpf of Winchester; uncles, Herman (Elise) Farris, Kenneth (Rita) Farris, and Gary (Vicki) Farris; aunt, Beverly (Jimmy) Turner; and many cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 1:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to American Cancer Society or Harris Chapel United Methodist Church.
