Carlotta Lynne Smith, 62 of Athens, passed away on Monday, February 7th, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Smith was born on March 24th, 1959, to Willie and Ruby Lee Johnson Williamson.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Walter Smith; son Robert Smith of Athens; mother Ruby Lee Williamson of Stockton, CA; and siblings Willie Williamson, Dewayne Williamson, Eugene Williamson, and Arron Williamson.
Preceded in death by her father Willie Williamson.
Carlotta was an avid baker and loved cooking, to host family and friends. She loved fashion, especially name brands, and shopping was a great pleasure for her. Her dogs Spartacus and Sheeva brought her great joy. She loved to travel the US and the world. She originally lived in California, then Carlotta and Walter relocated in the South to be near Robert while he attended college.
