Mrs. Betty M. Bates, age 89, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Regency Health Care, Huntsville, Alabama. Mrs. Bates is survived by her son, David Bates (Patricia) of Huntsville; 1 sister, Gail Hill of Gulf Shores; 2 Children: Nickolas Bates (Val) and Megan Rich (L. Scott); and 2 grandchildren: Kristabelle Bates and Clara Rich.
Service for Mrs. Bates will be Friday, January 21, 2022 at Southwood Presbyterian Church at 1 pm. Visitation at the church will be from 11 to 1 pm. Interment will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
