Rita Sue Sutherland, 63 of Addison, entered into rest on Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home.
Rita was born on May 6, 1958 in Jasper, Alabama to Lincoln and Gladys Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 6-8pm at Addison Church of God, where services will be Thursday at 12 noon. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Pastor Rodney Ridgeway will officiate.
Rita is survived by her husband, Benjamin Franklin “Frankey” Sutherland; son, Raymon Ben Sutherland; daughters, Jessyka Annette Sutherland Jones and her husband Cory, and Heather Sutherland; grandson, Matthew Dwain Sutherland; sisters Annette Ragland, and Phillis Jackson and her husband Jimmy, and Melissa Coots and her husband Randy; brothers-in-law, Billy Sutherland, Bobby Sutherland and his wife Pat; sisters-in-law, Christeen Cooper, and Betty Sutherland Harbin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lincoln and Gladys Cooper; brothers, Dwen Cooper and Dwain Cooper; and sister, Janice Burleson.
