Herbert Daniel Hardin, age 90 of Jasper, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Hardin served in the Air Force from January 3, 1951 until July 29, 1954. He was a long time member of the Jasper Elks Lodge #2571 and a long time member of the Walker County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Boldo Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hardin was preceded in death by his Parents-Daniel and Berta Hardin; Wife-Juanita Hardin; Son-Daniel Dewayne Hardin; Brothers-Hubert Hardin and Huston Hardin; Sisters-Ruth Handley and Hazel Dowdey.
He is survived by his Grandchildren-Jake Hardin (Tina), Devin Bracey (Wes), Michelle Hampton (Shawn) and Travis Hardin (Tianna); Great Grandchild-Elizabeth Hampton; Nieces-Beverly Dowdey Langley, Nan Julian, Belinda Handley and Sandra Beckett.
Pallbearers will be Jake Hardin, Travis Hardin, Wes Bracey, Shawn Hampton and Lane Hampton.
