Georgia Virginia Teters, age 91 of Estill Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Elk River Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born on September 3, 1930 to the late Aubrey and Daisy (Walls) Elks. Before her retirement, she was self-employed as a residential cleaner. When she was able, Georgia enjoyed taking walks, and she also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends. But most of all, she cherished the time spent with her beloved family. She was a member of White Oak Grove Church of God and will be remembered for her loving nature. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, James Leon Teters; brothers, Curtis Elks and James Elks; great-grandson, Carson Hall; and son-in-law, Robert Hall. She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Hall of Estill Springs; grandchildren, Christy Hall (Dion Keller) of Belvidere, Jodi (Brandi) Hall of Estill Springs, Jamie Hall of Estill Springs, Melinda Hall (Steve Montgomery) of Murfreesboro, Casey Hall (Daniel Brown) of Estill Springs, Billie Jo (James) Baker of Tullahoma; and James (Paige) Hall of Estill Springs; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Goodrum of Antioch. Visitation will be from 12-2pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Eddie Braddy and Bro.
