Mr. Robert Phillip Dendy, age 74, of Arab, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his residence.
Mr. Dendy was born on November 16, 1947, in Marshall County, Alabama to Jesse Ray Dendy and Doris Ann Claburn Dendy. Mr. Dendy was an Engineer for NASA. He was a member of the Union Grove Masonic Lodge #432 as well as a 32nd Degree Scottish Rites Mason. He enjoyed building things and teaching his children to do the same. He was a jack of all trades, he loved fishing and boating, but most of all he loved his family.
Mr. Dendy leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Connie Willis Dendy; son, John Lloyd Dendy (Angela); daughters, Lada Lomax, Rachel Ann Dendy (Matthew Hall); Amanda Marie Dendy (Jacob Ryan Bice); Gwyneth Rosalie Dendy; Granddaughter Madelyn Rae Dendy; sister, Jessica Charlene Pultz. Mr. Dendy was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Ray and Doris Ann Dendy; brothers, David Ray Dendy and Richard Clifford Dendy.
A visitation will be held at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Brashiers Chapel Cemetery in Arab.
