Robbie Mary Wise, 84 of Lester, passed away on Monday, December 27th, 2021, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Wise was born on October 20th, 1937, to Lilburn and Mabel Chambers Baxter.
Mrs. Wise is survived by her husband William Wise; daughter Shirley Pickett; son Billy Wise (Cindy); grandchildren Brian Townsend (Tesha), Steve Townsend, David Townsend (Heather), and Justin Wise; great-grandchildren Dylan Townsend, Cheyenne Townsend, Carson Townsend, Parker Townsend, and Mary-Catherine Townsend; and sisters Dorothy Hood, Hazel Moore, Darlene Adams, Geneva Thornton, and Carolyn Stay.
Preceded in death by her Parents; brother Buddy Baxter; and sister Faye Chambers.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 31st, 2021, at 2:00pm at Salem Church of Christ, with Mark Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm at the church. Burial will be at New Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Townsend, Steve Townsend, David Townsend, Dylan Townsend, Ronnie Williams, Carson Townsend, and Billy Wise. Honorary pallbearer will be Parker Townsend.
