Edward Frank Schrimsher, 84 of Athens, passed away on Monday, December 27th, 2021, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Schrimsher was born on December 27th, 1937, to Charlie and Sally Ennis Schrimsher.
Mr. Schrimsher is survived by his sons Dwight Schrimsher (Deborah), Paul Schrimsher (Shawn), and Keith Schrimsher; daughter Tammy Howell; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers Charles (Bud) Schrimsher and Jack Schrimsher; sisters Sarah Phillips and Ida Lowery; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Mildred Phillips, Frances Hays, Jeffoline Jolly, and Etoile Miller.
Funeral services for Mr. Schrimsher will be Monday, January 3rd, 2022, at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Donald Terry officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 2nd, from 6:00-9:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Due to health issues, the family requests that no perfume or cologne be worn while in the funeral home.
