Randy Michael Wood 69, of Decatur passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on June 18, 1952 to W. T. and Bernice Wood. He is preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur and was a retired chemical engineer from BP/Amoco. He is survived by his wife Karen Robinson Wood; two daughters, Katie Wood Pisone (Morgen), Anna Wood Lloyd (David); four grandchildren, Isabella Lloyd, Violet Lloyd, Lucas Pisone and Evelyn Pisone; one sister Janice Nelson. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Decatur followed by a 2:00pm Church service with Reverends Buddy Champion and Lance Pate officiating. Private family graveside will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Gruber, Cory Gruber, Robb Beckman, Sam Beckman, Jack Beckman, Michael Nelson and Michael Robinson. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
