Funeral Services for Mr. Aiden Wilson, age 11 of Cragford, will be on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Joel Sneed, Bro. Joey Swinnea, and Bro. Danny Swinnea officiating. Burial will follow at the Ashland City Cemetery.
Aiden passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Clay County Hospital. Aiden was a boy who enjoyed the smaller things in life. It didn’t matter the size of the gift, he would always appreciate even the smallest of things. Aiden enjoyed listening to Gospel music, drumming, eating any kind of potato chips, and spending time with his parents and little sister. He also enjoyed watching Curious George, lying around in his favorite blankets, and was very calm-natured. He always had a smile on his face and loved everyone with his whole heart. He was a member of Delta Independent Church and attended Ashland Elementary School.
He is survived by his parents: Justin and Shelly Wilson of Cragford; his sister, Elaina Kate Wilson; his paternal grandparents: Warren and Martha Wilson of Ashland; his maternal grandparents: Phillip and Bonetta Holloway of Mellow Valley, plus several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family.
Active pallbearers will be Caleb Holloway, Joshua Holloway, Phillip Paul Holloway, Daniel Sharpe, Corey Evitts, and Kyle Evitts.
