June Roach, 83 of Sumiton, went home to be with her Lord on Friday Dec. 3, 2021. She was a member of Sumiton Church of God, where she served as church Secretary for 31 years.
Funeral services will be Sunday December 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Sumiton Church of God. Rev. Lane Sargent will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 1-2 pm at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Lillian Burton and her brother, Freeman Burton.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Kenneth Roach; daughter, Pam Gilliland and husband Danny; son, Kevin Roach and wife Julie; grandchildren, Ashlynn Blevins (Justin) and Austin Roach; great grandchildren, Kenston Blevins and Laura Chandler Blevins; brother, Donald Burton (Shirley); sister, Joyce Borda-Burton; several other relatives and many friends.
