Donald Wayne Marshall, age 83 of Winchester, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1938 in Winchester to the late David Mead Marshall and Effie Mae Parker Marshall. He had worked for local nurseries for many years, including Sisk Nursery and Greenhill Nursery. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and planting trees. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Forest Marshall and Earl Marshall and two sisters, Jewel Hixson and Stella Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia “Pat” Marshall; siblings, Dale Marshall and Jean (Billy) May; niece, Karen James; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be 10 am-12 pm Monday, November 29, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm in Moore-Cortner Chapel with interment at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
