Graveside services for Mr. James “Paul” Cranford, age 82, will be held at 3 pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Bellview Cemetery in Bells, TN.
Mr. Cranford passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 surrounded by his children.
Mr. Cranford served in the US Navy from 1957 to 1961, was the owner and operator of Nite N Day Foodmart, and the owner and operator of Cranford Arabians.
Mr. Cranford was an avid poker player and loved to build and was an a very talented carpenter.
Mr. Cranford was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pauline Cranford; and a sister, Helen Bryant.
Mr. Cranford is survived by five children, Lisa Churchwell and husband Gary of Signal Mountain, TN, Jay P. Cranford and wife Susan of Munford, TN, Micah MacMillan of Weed, CA, Andrew Cranford and wife Karin of Huntsville, AL, and Justin Cranford of Cordova, TN; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Charles Cranford of Wilmington, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donation in his honor be made to the American Cancer Association.
