Russell Lee Dickerson, 89, of Killen, AL, passed away November 2, 2021 at NAMC. Russell was a Minister, Farmer, and a native of Lauderdale County, AL. Russell was a member and Minister at Chapel Hill Church of Christ. Russell is survived by: Son: Joe Dickerson of Killen Daughter: Candace Dickerson Shoemaker (Bobby) of Killen Grandchildren: Joshua (Britney) and Jordan (Whitney) and (2) Great-grandchildren Sister: Rita Faye Holden He was preceded in death by: Wife of 62 years: Faye Clemmons Dickerson Parents: Charlie Lee Dickerson and Allie Mae Behel Dickerson Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Jordan Shoemaker, Joshua Shoemaker, and Joe Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonnie Abernathy, Ronnie Behel, Rickie Behel, Robbie Neal, Jeff Burgess, Rocky Holden, Phillip Smallwood, and William Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Shoemaker, Jordan Shoemaker, Frank Holden, Jim Baker, Otis Ray Dickerson, Ronnie Dickerson, Dr. David Hollis, Erica Alley, Frank Niedergeses, and members of Chapel Hill Church of Christ.
