Gregory James Aston, age 65 of Parrish, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at UAB Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery. J.D. Dickerson will officiate.
Mr. Aston was preceded in death by his Mother-Nannie Yvonne Winchester; Father-James “Jim” Aston; Grandmother-Goldie Riggs; Grandfather-Pap Riggs; Grandparents-Eddie and Alma O’Shields; Grandfather-John Brunner; Uncles-Connie Brunner, Don Brunner, Roger O’Shields, Earl Aston, Lefty Aston, David Aston, Sam Aston and Carl Aston; Aunt-Nell Smith.
He is survived by his Wife-Tammy Elice Smith Aston of Parrish; Daughter-Jessy Leilani Aston of Parrish; Sisters-Connie Aston and Michelle Clifton (Phillip); Brothers-Mike Winchester (Deb), Chris Winchester (Kim) and Mark Aston (Marilyn); Uncles-Ray Brunner (Gail), Elmer Aston (Pansy); Aunts-Louise Brunner, Shelia Manasco and Rebecca O’Shields; Host of cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Jessy Aston College Fund at the Bank of Parrish.
